What's new for 2023?

The Ford F-150 gives you a new Rattler trim that will take you a long way off-road in style. It's based on the XLF X4 and it adds new 18-inch wheels, hill descent control, a dual-exhaust system, a linking rear differential and off-road suspension. The Rattler has been positioned within the Ford F-150 lineup to offer a more affordable choice for buyers who want off-road capability but don't want to spend all the money required for a Tremor or a Raptor model.

2023 Ford F-150 trim levels

The Ford F-150 gives buyers in Rockdale and Hearn, TX a total of nine trim levels to choose from:

  • XL
  • XLT
  • Rattler
  • Heritage Edition
  • Lariat
  • Tremor
  • King Ranch
  • Platinum
  • Limited

The 2023 Ford F-150 is available with so many different body styles in bed lengths you can practically custom-design one for yourself. The XLT is a good step up from the basic XL work truck and the Lariat model gives you a good mid-range choice. Buyers in Franklin and College Station TX will get a nice blend of features and affordability.

Engines in the new 2023 Ford F-150

For 2023, the Ford F-150 offers a variety of excellent engine choices. You can get a 3.3-liter V6 with 290 horsepower, a 5.0-liter V8 with 400 horsepower, a twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 with 325 horsepower, a 3.5-liter V6 with 400 horsepower or a torque-rich 3.0-liter diesel V6 with 250 horsepower. The Ford F-150 is offered for the first time with a 400-horsepower hybrid powertrain that's built with a twin-turbo V6 and an electric motor.

Towing and payload capability

The base level 3.3-liter V6 engine maxes out at 8,200 pounds but get a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 with 400 horsepower and you can tow up to 14,000 pounds. The diesel V6 can pull up to 12,100 pounds and the hybrid is capable of towing 12,700 pounds. Payload capacities range from 1,840 pounds to 3,250 pounds.
