The Fathom™ Is Coming to Bud Cross Ford, Inc.
Ford has announced Fathom™, an all-new midsize electric truck and the first vehicle built on Ford’s Universal Electric Vehicle Platform. Bud Cross Ford, Inc. is signing up interested Texas drivers now, ahead of preorders opening in early 2027.
Hands-Free Highway Driving
Fathom™ will be BlueCruise capable, so it can steer, accelerate and brake on prequalified highway sections while your hands stay off the wheel. Useful on I-15 runs to California and long stretches of US-95.
Power That Flows Both Ways
Bidirectional power lets Fathom™ act as an energy source, not just an energy user — running tools at a job site, gear at a campsite, or backing up essentials at home. Ford also projects greater passenger volume than a Toyota RAV4.
Standard Tech, No Upcharge
Every Fathom™ includes a large touchscreen with navigation powered by Apple Maps, a Digital Key, remote features through the Ford app, and Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility.
What the Fathom™ Will Cost
Ford has set a starting MSRP of $28,350* for a standard-range Fathom™. Destination and delivery adds $1,595, and dealer documentation fees are separate. Final pricing, available trims, and any Texas or federal incentives will be confirmed closer to launch.
